What This Warranty Covers

Homeward Bath LLC (the "Company") we offer a warranty on all products manufactured or distributed by the Company, provided the product is installed and used according to the Company's guidelines. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under the conditions specified below.
Eligibility:
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is valid as long as the product remains at its original installation site.
Installation:
- Products must be installed by a professional tradesperson.
- Products are intended for personal, residential use only.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:
- External Damage: Damage due to fire, flooding, natural disasters, accidents, or other acts of God.
- Normal Wear: Regular wear and tear, or routine maintenance.
- Improper Use: Damage from misuse, negligence, improper cleaning (e.g., chlorine-based cleaners), or installation errors.
- Shipping Damage: Damage that occurs during shipping or handling.
- Alterations or Repairs: Any damage from modifications or repairs made by anyone other than the Company.
- Health-Related Usage: Damage caused by use by individuals with certain health conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, diabetes).
- Commercial Use: Products used in commercial environments.
- Non-Genuine Parts: Damage from using non-authorized replacement parts.
- Chemical Damage: Damage from chemical corrosion or poor water quality (e.g., hard water, unfiltered well water).
Additional Exclusions:
- Installation Costs: Removal, installation, or reinstallation costs, as well as shipping or repair fees, are not covered under this warranty.
- Glass Products: Glass items are not covered under warranty after delivery.
Warranty Period
- Spare Parts: 1 year
- Heating Elements (Steam Generators): 2 years for residential use, 1 year for commercial use
- Glass: No warranty after delivery
- Walk-In Tub Door Seals: Limited lifetime warranty
- Steam Shower Pfister Manifolds: Limited lifetime warranty
- Other Products: 3 years
- eBay Purchases: 1 year
The warranty is activated upon completion of the Warranty Activation Form.
What We Will Do
If your product is found to be defective and is covered under this warranty, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the defective product. This will be your sole remedy under this warranty.
How to Request Warranty Service
To request warranty service, please follow these steps:

- Proof of Purchase: Submit your warranty claim along with proof of purchase within 30 days of discovering the defect and before the warranty period expires.
- Inspection: We may request photos, videos, or require you to return the product for inspection.
- Initial Defects: If defects are discovered upon delivery, they must be reported within 6 days of receipt. After this time, the warranty will no longer apply to those defects.
Exclusions & Limitations
The Company is not liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products. The maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the defective product. Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded under this warranty.
Compliance with Local Codes
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the product is installed in compliance with local building codes and regulations. The Company is not liable for any issues arising from non-compliance.

Eligibility for Return or Exchange

- A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returns.
- The customer is responsible for all freight costs associated with both the original shipment and return shipment.

Non-Returnable Items
The following products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:
- Display and Demo Products: These are sold “as is” and are non-returnable.
- Damaged Products: Products with scratches, dents, or any damage accepted by the customer at delivery.
- Special Orders: Items ordered specifically for you, including custom or special-order products.
- Closeout Items: Final sale or clearance items, which are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
